Louise Evans runs Brighton Half Marathon for Hurstwood Park
We are consistently overwhelmed by people’s support for Hurstwood Park through fund raising activities, and their reasons for doing so.
Louise Evans is running the Brighton Half Marathon in February 2015 and says:
“In 2010 my beloved Nan became very poorly and spent several months on a ward at Hurstwood Park Neurological Centre being treated for a brain haemorrhage. After a lengthy process of treatment and surgical interventions, she slowly recovered and was able to come home to her loving family.
“I will never forget how brilliant the staff were at Hurstwood Park and how they looked after my nan so well and would love to be able to give something back to them.
“This is why I have decided to run the Brighton half marathon in February 2015 in memory of my nan who sadly passed away in July 2013. Those of you who were lucky enough to meet or know my nan will remember what a crazy, funny and special lady she was, and she would be thrilled that we can give something back to the staff at Hurstwood Park who cared for her so amazingly”
