Alice in Wonderland themed day raises £473.41 for Hurstwood Park

“Firstly Thank You very much for Bow’s birthday cars it was very lovely of you. We had such a lovely day for her birthday, although it was forecast to rain all afternoon, we had a little shower and then the sun shine all day! My daughter had an Alice in Wonderland themed day. We had a BBQ serving hot dogs and burgers at £1.50 each and an old fashioned sweet cart and candy floss machine for the children as well as some fun bouncy castles. We asked for donations instead of gifts and people were very generous. It was a wonderful afternoon.

We managed to raise £473.41 for Hurstwood Park which we were very pleased with. I will post the cheques off to you tomorrow along with the gift aid forms.Please could you confirm the address I need to post these to.

I would also like to Thank You Brian for all your help. It’s been comforting chatting to you and having your support as I have never organised any fundraising before. You have been so friendly , you such a wonderful asset to Hurstwood Park. I’m now confident about fundraising and looking forward to doing this again for Hurstwood Park in the Future. I’m sure my Husband’s brother Mark would be very proud, we are going to visit him soon and let him know what we have done.”
